My answer: yes and no. Yes, because he actually went and agreed with whoever suggested the trigger be pulled on this guy. I’m almost certain that he didn’t want to have bin Laden killed, because that would simply lump him in with his hated predecessor, so I give him kudos for actually agreeing to make it so, even if the main reason he did it was to score political points, and not serve justice. The victory lap around the country pretty much proves that. And no, because a) he did not mention at all the incredibly hard work the Bush administration undertook to set up the killing, including using enhanced interrogation techniques in order to get critical information leading to the kill and b) ANY President, knowing that America’s most wanted was it his or her sites, would have hesitated even less.
