Clinton still believes in a vast conspiracy

When Hillary Clinton’s husband cheated on her, she blamed public upset over his infidelity and dishonesty to the American people on a “vast right-wing conspiracy.” And nearly two decades later, Clinton is still blaming those evil right wingers for her personal disappointments.

“The great story here, for anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it, is this vast right-wing conspiracy that has been conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president,” Clinton said during a 1998 interview on NBC’s Today Show.

During a town hall event in New Hampshire this week, CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Clinton whether she still believed some enterprising reporter ought to be digging for evidence of a right-wing conspiracy against her.

According to Clinton, there’s no need— it’s obviously still there.

“At this point it’s probably not correct to say it’s a conspiracy because it’s out in the open,” Clinton said. “There is no doubt about who the players are, what they’re trying to achieve… It’s real, and we’re going to beat it.”

In Clinton’s view, wealthy GOP donors make up the modern conservative evil empire.

“They’ve brought in some new multibillionaires,” she said. “They want to control our country. They want to rig the economy so they can get richer and richer.”

She added, “They want to go after any economic interest they don’t believe they can control.”

If Clinton loses her bid for the White House, you can bet that she’ll have much to say about how GOP financiers like of Charles and David Koch are responsible for her failure.

Of course, what you won’t hear much about is how disappointed George Soros and Wall Street’s megabanks will be after donating millions to her current and past political campaigns.

Or about all those foreign spies who likely hacked her private email server will feel shafted. As one journalist noted:

There are probably a bunch of folks in China and Russia who are praying (even if they’re atheists) for Hillary to be elected. If she wins, they own the President of the United States. I can just imagine in a meeting with Putin, Hillary being told to back off supporting Ukraine or he’ll release her emails (as he hands her a folder containing the most damaging ones for her to peruse). Put in that position, would Hillary fall on her sword or sacrifice a country like Ukraine? I don’t know, but I wouldn’t want to be living in Ukraine…

Watching the political dinosaur’s last few years unfold, it’s hard not to see that she is the only one conspiring to ruin her political life. And she’s been at it for a long time. Unfortunately, by running for president Clinton is also conspiring to make the American public pay for the consequences of her decades of political corruption. If she’s starting to seem desperate, it’s because she has a lot of favors to repay and secrets to keep hidden.
