This presidential selection season has been the most bizarre in my lifetime. I thank God that the political aspect of it is coming to a close, though I doubt that the election itself will be truly over by Wednesday morning.
I expect there will be lawsuits and counter-lawsuits. Neither candidate is likely to go away quietly.
And if the popular vote does not go as the Deep State wants, there may well be mischief when the electors meet on December 19, or when their votes are delivered to the senate president, Vice President Joe Biden, on December 28, or when congress meets to count the votes on January 6, 2016.
My prediction is there is great danger for violence in the wake of the media’s crowning a winner, whenever that happens. A small spark or the wrong word from the candidates or mischief by the electors or proof of widespread fraud having changed the outcome could trigger a great conflagration.
Conventional wisdom holds that in a “democracy,” people have control of the government with and through their vote and elections. But the esoteric truth is that all modern governments control the people. The people do not control the government. That is why it is more accurate to call it a presidential “selection” rather an election.
On that note, I have a relative in North Carolina who voted early and saw her vote change from Donald Trump to Hillary Clinton. It took more than 30 minutes and a lot of arguing with the poll workers to get her vote switched to Trump, and the poll workers were none too happy to accommodate her. So there is already and will be widespread vote fraud in this election.
It does not take switching many votes in the close “swing states” to change the outcome. And Project Veritas has recordings of Clinton operatives admitting rigging the vote and other mischief.
Personal Liberty and like-minded websites and publications have long been and continue to be very unpopular with the unthinking crowd and the establishment because we say that the U.S. government is on one side and the American people are on the other. We say this because the government rules with deception. If the bureaucrats and the politicians told the truth for only one hour, the American people would want them all tried for treason.
The propaganda apparatus of the U.S. government is an unbelievable and massive system. We are under attack from so many angles — from forced medication to biological warfare to psychological warfare — that we can barely deal with even a very small part of it. Most Americans have no clue that to truly be on safe ground they should believe the exact opposite of government and media pronouncements.
While this election has been ugly and vicious and at times even obscene, it has been productive to the cause of liberty. Now it is no longer just a small number of us who recognize the lies and corruption of government and the propaganda media. This was manifested in the campaigns of Trump and Bernie Sanders.
Notice I did not say the election of Trump will be good for the cause of liberty. I don’t believe Trump will advance the cause of liberty at all, nor do I expect him to shrink government. But the election – or the information that has come out during it – is good for the cause of liberty.
The Trump and Sanders campaigns showed that a growing number of American people no longer trust the politicians and the government. They have begun awakening to the fact that the government is their biggest problem and, dare I say, their enemy.
It is plain to almost anyone at this point that it is the government that has stifled personal liberty, and it is government that is confiscating our production and savings. I speak of the U.S. government, not a foreign government. And we who have been saying this for years are no longer considered nutters or conspiracy theorists by the majority of people.
When people see that there are others who believe as they do – that government is the enemy and the left/right, Republican/Democrat paradigm is a false one – their capacity for inquiry expands and their willingness to present evidence to others increases. This is one good thing this election season has accomplished.
So what else has it accomplished?
It marked the end of Bush dynasty. Trump was so adept at emasculating Jeb Bush during the primary that I doubt we’ll see another Bush run for president for many years, unless it is the one Bush who endorsed Trump, Jeb’s son George P.
It revealed the Republican establishment and the Democrat establishment are two peas from the same pod. This was manifested in the Republican Party’s lack of financial support for Trump’s campaign, its covert and sometimes overt opposition to it even after he won the nomination, and the many NeverTrumpers like Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, George W. Bush; congressweasels Adam Kinzinger, Scott Rigell, Richard Hanna, Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Carlos Curbelo, and Charlie Dent; senators Ben Sasse, Susan Collins, Mark Kirk, Lindsey Graham, and Kelly Ayotte; and a host of neocon/CFR “national security” people from Republican cabinets past.
It exposed the collaboration of the mainstream media and Democrat Party. WikiLeaks email dumps showing collusion between the media and the Clinton machine have done more to discredit the mainstream media’s narrative that it was “objective” than millions of words and mountains of evidence written by alternative sites like Personal Liberty could ever have done. The controlled media will not support a political candidate whose politics and philosophy do not harmonize with the establishment, which explains the media’s cheerleading for witch of Chappaqua over Trump
It exposed the Clinton crime machine and how deep it runs. Despite the efforts of Department of Just Us head Loretta Lynch and Clinton (best friend for as long as he covered for us) FBI Director James Comey, the ongoing drip/drip of Clinton scandal and the leaks from the aggrieved FBI insiders who investigated Clinton only to see Comey run interference and thanks to the gift of the Anthony Weiner investigation, it looks like the Clinton mafia may finally have to face justice.
Even if Trump wins “the vote” and goes into office, I don’t expect much to change. He has already allowed the Deep State to co-opt his inner circle and is taking money from supporters of the Deep State and Zionists. The establishment will use Trump or set him up as a fall guy for a great calamity like the collapse of the economy.
I call the American system benevolent totalitarianism because it is a seductive system of psychological warfare coupled with a highly oppressive legal system that essentially puts the people in an economic and political straitjacket while keeping them believing that they are free. This has worked to maintain the status quo for more than 100 years. But if things continue on this trajectory – regardless of which candidate is selected – we can call 2016 the year of the great awakening.
Until recently, anyone who questioned the system was immediately branded unpatriotic or crazy. But thanks to this election, questioning the system has become mainstream.
In the May 1999 issue of The Bob Livingston Letter (subscription required) I wrote this:
The underlying problem is the implicit trust of authority. People believe what the politicians and the bureaucrats say almost without question. I have often wondered what kind of shock it would take to wake the American people up.
I believe we have found it.
