No home for the holidays

I don’t know how Thanksgiving unfolds in your homes, but my family follows a pretty predictable pattern. Multiple generations of Crystals gather in one house and we celebrate. Barring minor differences in attendance, Thanksgiving isn’t complicated; or at least, it shouldn’t be. But, leave it to the liberals to find a way to ruin the fun for everyone.

Silver and dollars: How to protect against massive fraud

The paper money and savings you have in the bank are numbers. The entire modern system of fiat money is only numbers. It is not substance. Fiat is “money” by decree of “authority.” All money issued by the Government is backed by the “full faith and credit of United States Government.”

All the old world systems are being deliberately torn down

In 1864, Lincoln gave a second proclamation for a Thanksgiving holiday, stating that: “I do further recommend to my fellow-citizens aforesaid that on that occasion they do reverently humble themselves in the dust.” Now, I sometimes wonder if Lincoln was referring to reverence for God, or reverence to the power structure which was about to give back some of the predictability and tranquility it had taken away?

If Alabamians needed a reason to stick with Roy Moore, here it is…

In American politics,  the only people more important than those who support you the most are the people quickest to condemn you when the opportunity arises. The Washington GOP establishment’s treatment of Senate hopeful Roy Moore provides a good example of why this matters.

Prepared for the unknown… I thought

The last three months have been a difficult and challenging time for me. One of the most difficult things I have had to try to wrap my brain around has been the fact that there are things that I have never considered when it comes to my family’s preparedness. I have always felt that I had a decent grasp on the scenarios that my family and I were likely to face. Of course, since that Murphy guy seems to really exist, I have since learned otherwise.

Say no, Moore

It’s time to cut Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore loose. I realize he was a better choice – from a purely political standpoint – than his primary challenger, Luther Strange. The good people of Alabama, not to mention America, deserve better than a partisan cutout who’s a walking avatar for the moldy, McCain/McConnell wing of the GOP.
