Romney Supports Increasing Federal Minimum Wage
February 1, 2012 |
Here is just another example of why I can’t see how conservatives can get excited about Mitt Romney:
Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney renewed his support Wednesday for automatic increases in the federal minimum wage to keep pace with inflation, a position sharply at odds with traditional GOP business allies, conservatives and the party’s senior lawmakers.
“I haven’t changed my thoughts on that,” the former Massachusetts governor told reporters…
Despite being a successful businessman, Mitt Romney is saying that he supports expanding unconstitutional laws that make it harder for business to expand and hire new employees. The worst part of his argument is his reasoning. Minimum wage is a major contributing factor to inflation, it’s not the only factor, but it’s a pretty big one.
If you were already questioning Romney’s political experience and knowledge, you might want to take a second look at his business experience. It seems that he hasn’t learned much.
