New Bill Says Syria Action Impeachable Offense

Let the pissing contest begin.

Introducing a resolution declaring that should Obama use offensive military action in Syria without authorization from Congress, such an act would be viewed as “an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor,” Rep. Walter Jones, Jr. (R-NC) is attempting to drawn the line in the sand with respects to the unconstitutional behavior of this rogue regime. Unfortunately, House Concurrent Resolution 107 only addresses military action regarding Syria rather than the numerous constitutional violations that have occurred under Obama’s watch.

It is a sad commentary on the state of the country and more specifically, the tyrannical nature of the supreme ruler’s regime, that a resolution has to be introduced to enforce constitutional law already in existance. Will some other member of Congress demonstrate a back-bone and confront Obama? Or will they all continue to sit on the sidelines, hands on their laps and hope the American people can remove him from office at election time?

I consider myself a typical American. I value my family, friends and personal integrity. I enjoy some sports and a cold beer on a hot day. OK, several. I'll put some money on a pony now and then, too. I feel that America, as outlined by the Constitution, represents the greatest concept of government that humanity has conceived. However, this sound-bite based, PC, half-truth environment that our leaders, celebrities, unions and special interest groups have fostered is a fallacy and a farce. It is mocking those that gave their lives for this country, insulting the citizenry and ripping this country apart. I question government's intent on all levels and doubt its' competency with all enterprises. I believe small government is good government, I just can't decide whether it should be small or infinitesimal. Drop a line at
