One Million Dollars for Romney
June 28, 2012 |
With today’s unprecedented SCOTUS ruling on ObamaCare, conservative voters have rush to Romney bearing gifts of campaign contributions to help defeat Obama. In fact, over one million dollars has been raised by the Romney campaign today! But is that really good news? Gary Johnson sent this message out to his supporters today:
“Gov. Mitt Romney’s campaign says they have received $1 million in
contributions since the Supreme Court essentially upheld Obama’s
health care law.
This is the same Mitt Romney who created the template for Obama’s plan in Massachusetts. And the same Mitt Romney who has promised to
appoint more ‘John Roberts’ to the Supreme Court – the same Chief
Justice Roberts who was the pivotal vote to uphold the individual healthcare mandate by calling it a tax.”
Somewhere along this election season, conservative Republicans seem to have forgotten Romney’s not-so-conservative record. What should we expect from a President Romney on healthcare? Will he actually push for repeal? If so, will he actually push for a free market solutions, or just revert back to typical Romney cronyism?
Sorry Romney fans, but I’m not counting on any real solutions in the next 4 years.
