Gun-Grabbing Democrat Shows She Is An Arrogant Buffoon

April 4, 2013   |   Tags:

Things got a little strange during a gun control forum in Denver the other day.

The topic on the table was the fact that millions of high-capacity magazines are currently in circulation and therefore, a ban on them would leave us peasants at a disadvantage against any filthy vermin that already possess them.

When a citizen expressed concern he would be out-gunned if the ban went into effect, Rep. Diana DeGette, lead sponsor of a bill to ban high-capacity magazines, told him not to worry about it because “you’d probably be dead anyway if they had that kind of firepower.”

All we hear from these lunatic-left, gun-grabbers is that they understand the importance of gun ownership, that they value our concern for self-defense and that they just want to apply common-sense measures.

The problem is buffoons don’t have common-sense. That’s why they are buffoons.

Call me crazy but I consider Rep. DeeDee more dangerous than the filthy vermin.

But wait, there’s more—we are talking about a “liberal” after all.

After this exchange, obviously relying on her vast experience and expertise, Dangerous DeeDee went on to justify her outlook.

“These are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now, they’re going to shoot them,” the well-informed Rep. stated, “so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high-capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.”

DeeDee, sweetheart, my goodness, where should we begin?

The colossal ignorance displayed by Rep. Diana DeGette is clearly dangerous to America, the Constitution and the Second Amendment.

Yet, far worse is the audacity and arrogance of a woman who will sponsor significant legislation when she obviously possesses no first-hand knowledge of the subject matter.

Gun legislation ties directly into liberty and security and life or death. This is not about building a wishing-well in front of city hall.

Ask yourself, is Dangerous DeeDee acting in the best interests of her country and fellow citizens or for her party?

Don’t bother to answer that, crusaders, just empty your bank accounts and buy all the weapons, accessories and ammo that you can.

I consider myself a typical American. I value my family, friends and personal integrity. I enjoy some sports and a cold beer on a hot day. OK, several. I'll put some money on a pony now and then, too. I feel that America, as outlined by the Constitution, represents the greatest concept of government that humanity has conceived. However, this sound-bite based, PC, half-truth environment that our leaders, celebrities, unions and special interest groups have fostered is a fallacy and a farce. It is mocking those that gave their lives for this country, insulting the citizenry and ripping this country apart. I question government's intent on all levels and doubt its' competency with all enterprises. I believe small government is good government, I just can't decide whether it should be small or infinitesimal. Drop a line at
