A Justice Department investigation has been launched after classified materials were discovered at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington, according to CBS News on Monday. According to CBS, who cited “two sources with knowledge of the investigation,” the investigation focuses on “approximately 10 documents” that were discovered in “President Biden’s vice-presidential office at the center.” John Lausch, the U.S. attorney in Chicago, has been tasked by Attorney General Merrick Garland with reviewing the sensitive documents and figuring out how they got to the Penn Biden Center.
